Consider Your Gift
Not Equal Gifts, But Equal Sacrifice!
This chart is meant to assist the faithful of St. Isidore to assess how they might be able to contribute to the capital campaign. The Grow Where You Are Planted campaign leaders will be asking parishioners to consider various gifts on the gift chart below. By doing this we have a better chance of getting closer to our goal. St. Joseph, pray for us!
To determine a gift that could be a sacrifice for you, please:
● Be aware of God’s many blessings given to you.
● Select the largest gift level that seems manageable to you.
● Consider a gift that might be a sacrifice for you by going one or two levels higher.
● Reflect on the amazing example of the parishioners that came before us and provided sacrificial gifts to build our beautiful campus.
● Pray often, “Lord, what do you want to do – through me – for my parish?”
● Ask for the intercession of St. Joseph.

Ways to Give
A Few Strategies
RMDs are the minimum amounts you must withdraw from your retirement accounts each year. You generally must start taking withdrawals from your traditional IRA, SEP IRA, SIMPLE IRA, and retirement plan accounts when you reach age 73.

Money from an individual retirement account IRA can be donated directly to charity. What's more, you will be obliged to pay taxes on money you withdraw for yourself; you DO NOT pay taxes on money you give directly to charity. For example, if your RMD amount is $7,500 a year, you can make a $5,000 charitable distribution and take the remaining $2,500 yourself, paying taxes on just $2,500. Please see your financial representative for more information.

MATCHING GIFTS. St. Isidore’s is blessed with church members who work for a variety of companies that match church gifts, primarily educational gifts. Check with your employer to see if you have a matching gifts program and if your pledge/gift might qualify.
TAX SAVINGS. Additional giving can also create extra tax savings. One example is that a person planning to make an annual gift of $10,000 could result in tax savings of $2,500.
SAVINGS AND ANNUITIES. Savings for special projects, retirement, or that "rainy day" offer a resource for increased giving. Often, we realize that our savings may not be needed for our original purpose and are available as a resource for giving.
GIFTS OF APPRECIABLE ASSETS. Gifts such as stocks, bonds, real estate, etc., provide opportunities coupled with potentially significant tax savings.

SACRIFICES and DELAYED EXPENDITURES. Giving something up (like one of the items above) or delaying the purchase of a major item, such as a trip, an automobile, a house renovation, a large purchase, etc., allows substantial giving opportunities.

Goals
While it is common in Capital Campaigns for a few gifts to account for a large percentage of the total, having a gift chart is useful for setting goals and establishes a baseline for the rest of campaign. Please review this depth chart indicating the number of donors which will be needed at each range of giving. There is no cap on a particular level, even if the initial goal has been achieved.
Gift Totals
This chart indicates the current number of pledges at each gift level, as well as the number still needed to meet the goal.
