Consider Your Gift

Not Equal Gifts, But Equal Sacrifice!

Not Equal Gifts, But Equal Sacrifice!

Not Equal Gifts, But Equal Sacrifice!

This chart is meant to assist the faithful of St. Isidore to assess how they might be able to contribute to the capital campaign. The Grow Where You Are Planted campaign leaders will be asking parishioners to consider various gifts on the gift chart below. By doing this we have a better chance of getting closer to our goal. St. Joseph, pray for us!

To determine a gift that could be a sacrifice for you, please:

● Be aware of God’s many blessings given to you.

● Select the largest gift level that seems manageable to you.

● Consider a gift that might be a sacrifice for you by going one or two levels higher.

● Reflect on the amazing example of the parishioners that came before us and provided sacrificial gifts to build our beautiful campus.

● Pray often, “Lord, what do you want to do – through me – for my parish?”

● Ask for the intercession of St. Joseph.

God asks us to bring forth great fruit at St. Isidore’s. Prayerfully consider the following: All of us have been blessed differently; all of us will give differently. We believe in equal sacrifice, not in equal gifts. We are all called to sacrifice! To start thinking about your sacrificial gift, please do the following:

1. Find a 3-year gift that is manageable to you.
2. Consider praying, reaching, striving, and trying to go one or two levels higher: from the more comfortable gift to the more sacrificial gift.
3. Consider sacrifices in your life that you could make in your life to reach higher.
4. Pray daily to the Holy Ghost to guide you in your decision.

Goals

Goals

Goals

While it is common in Capital Campaigns for a few gifts to account for a large percentage of the total, having a gift chart is useful for setting goals and establishes a baseline for the rest of campaign. Please review this depth chart indicating the number of donors which will be needed at each range of giving. There is no cap on a particular level, even if the initial goal has been achieved.

Level 1: Seeds

Under the Patronage of:
St. John the Baptist

The first level of giving will provide bricks for the exterior of our church. Just as seeds sown in a field provide the raw material for the harvest to be reaped in the future, so too these bricks will be the raw material for preserving our church in the decades to come. This level is dedicated under the patronage of St. John the Baptist, who was the precursor of Our Lord by preaching penance and baptism before His coming, thus preparing the way for the harvest of souls. Those who give at this level will receive one of the old bricks that has been replaced.

GOAL: 40 Donors
$1,000 to $4,999 ($55 monthly for 3 years)

Level 2: Hand Tools

Under the Patronage of:
St. Michael the Archangel

The next level of giving will provide the labor for the restoration of the brick façade and the infrastructure. The tools for the work are important in the hands of the laborer. This level is under the patronage of St. Michael who led the heavenly army in defense of the rights of God. The participants at this level will receive a framed print of our beautiful Romanesque church.

GOAL: 25 Donors
$5,000-$9,999 ($200 monthly for 3 years)

Level 3: Irrigation

Under the Patronage of :
St. Elizabeth of Hungary

The third level of giving is to provide the protection from moisture for the newly conditioned structure. Under the patronage of St. Elizabeth, who provided essential gifts to her subjects, the structure will be insured against future water penetration. Patrons at this level will receive a 3D model of St. Isidore’s.

GOAL: 18 Donors
$10,000-$24,999 ($420 monthly for 3 years)

Level 4: Plow

Under the Patronage of:
St. Anne

This level will help to purchase the mortar that will rebuild the walls and sustain the structure, including the window depicting St. Anne, mother of the Blessed Virgin Mary and grandmother of Our Lord. Givers at this level will have a paving stone with their name on it placed on the St. Isidore campus.

GOAL: 12 Donors
$25,000 to $49,999 ($1000 monthly for 3 years)

Level 5: Tractor

Under the Patronage of:
St. Mother Cabrini

At the fifth level the tractor represents the necessary work to prepare the ground for the new school building. Mother Cabrini, the patron at this level, is already a patron of St. Isidore’s, having helped to bring the initial construction to a successful conclusion. Patrons for level 5 will receive a statue of Our Lady Help of Christians.

GOAL: 8 Donors
$50,000 to $99,999 ($2000 monthly for 3 years)

Level 6: Cultivator

Under the Patronage of:
Our Lady of Guadalupe

The sixth level of giving is to purchase the school furnishings for the new classrooms where the students are taught and strengthened in the knowledge and love of God and learning. Our Lady of Guadalupe brought glory to the Americas by her cultivation of the roses that led to the conversion of millions. Donors at this level will have a tree planted in their honor on the school campus in thanks for their contribution to the Grow Where You Are Planted campaign.

GOAL: 5 Donors
$100,000 to $249,999 ($4,000 monthly for 3 years)

Level 7: Farmer

Under the Patronage of:
St. Isidore the Farmer

The basic structure of the new academic building, the walls and roof, will be provided by donors at this level under the patronage of St. Isidore, who provides for the growth of our parish and academy. Those who donate at this level will be given a burial plot in St. Isidore’s Cemetery, where faithful will pray that they join the company of St. Isidore as soon as possible.

GOAL: 3 Donors
$250,000 to $499,999 ($100,000 Annually for 3 years)

Level 8: Harvester

Under the Patronage of:
St. Joseph

At this level the eight classrooms needed to accommodate our students will be constructed. St. Joseph, our patron for this Capital Campaign, foster father of Our Lord, and protector of our families, will help to provide the necessary spaces for nurturing our children and students. Patrons at this level will have their names on a plaque at the classroom they sponsored, will be able to preview the plans for the building, and will receive two of the gifts of the lower levels. They will also receive a cemetery plot, like the level 7 donors.

GOAL: 2 Donors
$500,000-$999,000 ($250,000 annually for 3 years)

Level 9: Barn

Under the Patronage of :
Our Lady Help of Christians

This last level, finishing the academic building, is the most costly, but the most vital component of this part of the Campaign. Our Lady Help of Christians has guided her Academy through 30 years and will continue to show herself truly as our Help in the coming years. Donors at this level will have their name recorded in the cornerstone, help lead the groundbreaking ceremony, and will receive the gifts of levels 7 and 8.

GOAL: 1 Donors
$1,000,000+ ($400,000 Annually for 3 years)
