Work has now started on repairing the brick of St. Isidore’s. Denver Masonry is removing the mortar which has degraded over time and will be replacing it with new mortar as well as adding extra ties in places where needed. Another company, Arco, will be manufacturing new stones that will be used to replace the current stones around the windows on the exterior of the church, as those stones are crumbling.

Meanwhile, our building committee is looking into the work that will be necessary to improve the drainage of the water that comes out of the gutters onto the ground around the church.

As we put the funds of the campaign to good use for the repair of the church, we continue to pray that new donors might step forward to contribute to Grow Where You Are Planted. What a wonderful thing it would be if the entire parish were able to participate in this important campaign!

I want to thank all of our many donors for their great generosity thus far. May God reward them abundantly.

I also want to encourage everyone to continue your prayers to St. Joseph and Our Lady Help of Christians as we draw close to the midway point of our three-year campaign.
