The thorough roof work done by A&H Roofing is very close to being complete. Our new roof has a snow/ice guard, new downspouts, and sheathing underneath the roof. God willing, this work solves the majority of the leaking problems that St. Isidore's has had throughout the years.

After the roof is finished, we will be contracting work to improve the drainage of rainwater once it comes to the ground from the downspouts. Currently, the water is not being effectively siphoned to our water detention pond.

We also need to do brick and stone repairs on the church. The brick needs to be tuckpointed, replacing the old mortar, and weep holes need to be added to allow any water that gets behind the brick to drain. The white stone around the windows of the church needs to be replaced, and better flashing needs to be installed.

These projects will cost between $600,000 and $1 million, which is a sizable amount of money. The good news, however, is this: thanks to your generosity in the Grow Where You Have Planted campaign, we have this money available. And, once this work is done, the repairs on the church will be complete, as all of the major issues will be resolved.

Once these projects are done, we can look towards constructing a new school building for our upper school. Thank you for all of your prayers for our campaign, especially during this month of St. Joseph.
